Martin is the Chief Technology Officer of PLUSXPERT. He leads the entire product management and development organization at PLUSXPERT, including wireless products and telecommunications applications. Martin has more than 20 years involvement in retail technology from POS to CRM, business intelligence, retail banking to mobile technology.

Martin's early career was with technology intensive multinationals Celsius-Nobel Group, Philips Telecommunications and Systems and Digital Equipment Corporation where he held positions in software and engineering management, industry consulting, project management and marketing management. In 1998 he co-founded software house Digital Progress (DP) which develops enterprise applications for mobile devices. Amongst others, DP undertook projects with one of the largest soft drink producers in SE Asia to deploy wireless monitoring of vending machines as well as vending machine services for handphones. He also served as COO for ConnecTel, a subsidiary of Middle East based cellular telecommunications corporation Orascom.

A Swedish national, Martin Harnevie holds an M.Sc. in electronics engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden and a degree in economics at the Gothenburg School of business.
